Andi Vann

Owner and Founder, Pure Bliss Desserts


Andi is a born and raised Washingtonian. After graduating with a Psychology Degree from Western Washington University, she joined an organizational development firm in Bellevue, WA which focused on enhancing team performance through growing individuals & team communication skills.  While the job was rewarding, Andi’s true passion for baking that was prevalent in her younger years came alive yet again.  After marrying the man of her dreams, Andi and her husband Nick relocated to Bellingham and Pure Bliss Desserts was born.  Approaching 10 years of owning and operating Pure Bliss, her passion and commitment for baking and the many more aspects of owning a business continues to grow.  Bellingham is a place that Nick, Andi and their children (5 year old daughter & 20 month old son) love to call home.  They can be found hiking on nearby trails, biking on Galbraith, exploring Bellingham’s many locally owned shops & restaurants, or just hanging out at home with family & friends.

Anne-Marie Faiola

CEO and Founder, Bramble Berry


Anne-Marie is passionate about creativity and believes it’s essential for everyone. That passion led her to found Bramble Berry Handcraft Provisions in 1999. Through Bramble Berry she’s able to inspire, cheerlead, coach, and lead their 60,000 plus customers - most of whom are small businesses that sell soap at farmers markets.

Her mission statement has been the same since she started: She uses her forward-thinking positivity to encourage women to lead lives of distinction that bring them joy.

Christy Johnson

Entrepreneur and Educator, Artemis Connection


Christy Johnson is an entrepreneur and educator. She is currently building her fourth start-up, Artemis Connection. She also is adjunct faculty at the University of Washington where she teaches Entrepreneurship and designed a new course on Women in Entrepreneurial Leadership. She has seven years of experience working in corporate strategy, including nearly 4 years at McKinsey & Co. Before this, Christy was an award-winning economics and mathematics teacher. In 2005, Junior Achievement recognized Christy as its National Teacher of the Year.
 
Recently Christy successfully led the following efforts:

  • Served on McKinsey’s "Women Matter” and "Centered Leadership” research team. Synthesized findings and led leadership teams for women in the United States and Europe
  • Created a talent acquisition and development program for a $24B conglomerate that resulted in bringing in new, young leaders for a Silicon Valley company; resulted in strategic partnerships with top universities.

Christy holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business with a certificate in public management. She led the personal side of leadership club, was involved with the center for social innovation and co-led the student admissions committee. She also has a Master’s in Education from Stanford’s School of Education. Her undergraduate degree is in Economics from Western Washington University. Christy resides in Mukilteo, Washington with her husband, Kyle Johnson, her daughter and her twin boys.

Heather Simpson

Business Consultant and Founder and Director, She Leads Me


Heather Simpson is a business consultant, thought leader and go-to guru for female leadership and empowerment. She is the Founder and Director of She Leads Me, a company devoted to supporting women on their individual journey’s in their lives, careers and businesses.
 
As a former CEO in a male dominated industry, Heather noticed the gap in true community and support for women in leadership positions. She has created a movement and culture among women, asking them to step into leadership alongside her, and fully own their power, unapologetically and abundantly.
 
Heather has helped launched multiple successful businesses, bringing many of them to six figure profits in their first 12 months in business. She continues to provide the strategy, knowledge and the intangible insights to businesses all over the country.
   
The community of She Leads Me has grown incredibly since it’s start in 2018 with many ongoing events, retreats, workshops and a top-rated podcast with worldwide following. Heather continues to build her company to support women while also being an avid traveler, partner and mom to three.
